Statistical Study of Influence of the Dynamics of Tariffs on Socio-economic Development of the Region

In article methodical aspects of application of the statistical analysis to research of influence of tariff policy on processes of planning and implementation of programs of social and economic development of the Orenburg region are considered. During the analysis by means of system of statistical methods the main dependences of social and economic development of the region on results of its tariff policy are revealed.

The Development of the Integration of Education, Science and Industry in the Form of Technology Transfer on Modern Phase of the Innovation Cycle of the Russian Economy

The article considers the development of the integration of education, science and industry in the form of direct and indirect mechanisms of technology transfer. The comparative analysis of such terms as «technology transfer», «technology commercialization», «innovation diffusion», «spillover of innovation». The article gives accent to the aspects and problems of technology transfer in the Russian economy.

WHAT FACILITATES AND WHAT SLOWS DOWN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS IN RUSSIA

The article provides a critical appraisal of the Russian language literature on public-private partnership (PPP) management. Having identifies gaps and weaknesses in the literature, the article highlights the internal drivers of PPP development in Russia and gives an assessment of their significance for partnership proliferation in the country, investigates the principal components of the emergent paradigm in the public policy aimed at advancement of partnerships, delineates the paradigm’s nature and shows its implications.

Development of Cooperation in the Sphere of Energy in a Globalizing World Economy

The article considers the prospects of TAPI (Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India) gas-pipe line for strengthening of the energy safety in the Asian region. A special attention is paid to possible participation of Russia in the future projects of energy cooperation. The author proves economic expediency of the given project.

The author considers the methodical problems concerning the social standards of living. Special attention is given to the effects of the service industry activity on the index of development of human potential. Nonmonetaized indication – precisely, share of people employed in this particular industry – is offered as an indication for calculation of the results of the service industry activity.

Foreign Economic Potential of Agrofood Complex of Russia

In the article foreign economic relations of agrarian and industrial complex of Russia and the factors of the world market influencing food sphere are considered. The condition of agrofood export of Russia in which structure the basic place is on grain crops is analyzed. The export potential as one of basic elements of resource potential of a grain husbandry is in detail studied. Measures on increase of competitiveness of grain branch with the purpose of maintenance of food safety are offered.

Internal and External Drivers of Public-Private Partnership in Russia

The article discusses factors that drive development of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Russia. These factors have been categorized in two groups: internal and external. The author draws a conclusion that a more balanced approach to PPP benefits and potential drawbacks should be employed as partnership innovation is in no way guaranteed, and a PPP project may become more costly compared to traditional service delivery by government. 

Forms of Monopoly in Modern Russian Economy

The article describes types of monopolies in the modern economy of Russia, analyzes factors that affect their functioning, investigates cooperative interactions, as well as the hidden processes of concentration in the economy and pattern of interactions cartel.
