The Social Capital: Theory and Practice

The analysis of the contents and forms of the social capital is applied to the economic processes peculiar to postindustrial technological way. The social capital influences economic life of a society as the independent phenomenon and through transformation into other forms: cultural, human, physical capitals. It becomes means of growth of economy of the advanced countries, moves in structure of radical sources of development.

The Theory of Welfare: Redistribution and Efficiency

The article reviews major theoretical approaches to state’s redictribution policies; the role of these policies in forming public welfare is shown. For a contemporary society, the existence of a conflict between social equality and economic efficiency is one of the characteristic features. Market economy equilibrium may be looked for basing on determining the public optimum.

The Fixed Capital Dynamic in Russian Economy

Role of the physical capital dynamic in Russian modern economics are considered in the paper. Influence of this process at national industries and industrial organization performance are emphasized. There are basic proportions of the physical capital dynamic: industrial invest proportion, proportion between import of equipment and it’s national production, proportion between inside and outside sources of the physical capital dynamic in the article.
