Contradictory Development NON‑SECTOR: Theoretical and Methodological Aspects

The article with the theoretical and methodological positions proved contradictory development of the nonprofit sector of the economy, it is proved that this inconsistency is manifested at three levels: the economic interests of its subjects, level of functioning (the behavior of his subjects) and the level of receipt of the final result. Identified internal and external contradictions of economic interests of the sub‑ jects of the nonprofit sector, its operations and produce the final result of the activity.

Evolution of the Key Strategic Resource in Models of Economic Development of Russia

The article describes the evolution of patterns of economic development of Russia and its key strategic resource. Solved imbalances and contradictions that have emerged in the context of export of raw materials specifics of the Russian economy in different historical periods and a major limitation for purposes of determining the perspective of economic development and ways to achieve them.

In the article there are considered the reasons of modern structural crisis in Russian economy. The author makes a conclusion of a catastrophic economical lag in Russia comparing it with economies of highly developed countries. Recommendations about the removal of Russian economy to the path of leading development are given in the article.

Cartridge Case Signature Identification Using Topography Measurements and Correlations. Unification of Microscopy and Objective Statistical Methods

A comparison microscope employing the standard optical comparison method and confocal microscopy with subsequent cross correlation topography analysis were used to correctly identify cases fired from a set of ten (10) consecutively made pistol slides. The mathematical identifications were based on the breech face impression without the firing pin aperture shear marks. Fifteen (15) unknown cartridge cases were compared to test fired cartridge case sets from the consecutively manufactured slides.

Bullet Signature Identification Using Topography Measurements and Correlations. Unification of Microscopy and Objective Statistical Methods

Current firearm identification is based on image comparisons using optical comparison microscopes. The ability to produce an accurate identification depends on image quality which is largely affected by lighting conditions. Because ballistic signatures are geometrical micro-topographies by nature, the main objective is to demonstrate the usefulness of surface topography measurement techniques for firearm identification.

Establishing a Traceability and Quality System for U.S. Ballistics Identification Using NIST SRM Standard Bullets and Cartridge Cases

Positive results of introduction of project NBIС conducted by NIST in conjunction with ATF. The project is designed to ensure the quality of ballistic identification ballistic laboratories in the USA.

Identification of Firearms Laser Marks of the Barrel Bore

The paper considers the possibility of using laser marking to identify the bore arms on the traces on fired bullets. The analysis of modes of laser processing of a trunk at which traces on the shot bullet can be recognized by suitable to identification, is executed on the basis of the spent experiments.

Possibility of Farearm Identification on Fired Bullets Traces after Thermal Influence

The experimental research of influence of thermal heating of a bullet on traces of cut fire-arms on its surface is spent. Influence of heating of a bullet on process of identification of the weapon is defined.
