Introduction. Studying the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and the financial stability of companies is an important task for economic forecasting and risk management. This paper attempts to assess the nature of this relationship at an aggregated industry level, which helps to minimize errors associated with the non-representativeness of samples of individual enterprises. Еmpirical analysis. The research is based on an analysis of aggregated data from 2,230,121 Russian non-financial organizations for the period from 2014 to 2023.

Introduction. The current task of forensic ballistic identification is to investigate the breech face impressions on the firing cartridge cases. The paper deals with comparison of images of breech face impressions by correlation cells method. Theoretical analysis. Similarity of images of investigated impressions can be established by a method of the correlation analysis. However, this method is ineffective, because the correlation coefficient is dominated by areas that do not contain useful information.

In paper investigated methods to improve the quality of digital images of the firing pin traces and traces on fired bullets. Methods of comparison of firing pin traces by means of Euler’s characteristics and methods of comparison of traces on fired bullets by means of the correlation analysis have been considered. Analyzed the firing pin marks on the image cartridges, shot in the Makarov pistol and Colt mod. 1911, as well as marks on the bullets, shot from a Makarov pistol.
