The Effectiveness of Structural Dynamics Economic System
Introduction. The article is devoted to the efficiency of structural changes in the economy. A distinction between the concepts of efficiency and optimality in economic structure is made. Theoretical analysis. The author considers the definitions of efficiency of structural changes and the effectiveness of the economic structure. The indicators of structural efficiency are analyzed. The contradiction between various indicators of the economic structure dynamics and their correlation with the processes of progressive development and growth of national economy are investigated. Results of the research. A conclusion about the ambiguity of the impact of structural change on the economy, which can be either positive (if the renovation of production is carried out on the basis of progressive structural changes) or negative (if the development is due to the growth of the backward sectors of the national economy) is made.
