Dualistic Nature of Higher Educational Institution Strategic Management

Abstract: 

Introduction. Each higher educational institution has its own peculiarities, which are reflected in the specifics of its management, it seems unlikely to single out certain canons of strategic management in higher education. In this work we set a goal to determine a common vision of the structure of higher education institutions strategic management, taking into account previously developed concepts. Theoretical analysis.The formation of a global network for the exchange, transformation and dissemination of information, have led to an aggravation of the dialectical contradiction in the pair "educational process – research process" institutions of higher education. Results. The proposed structural model allows to use simultaneously different conceptual approaches to the formation of strategies for different spheres of activity of a higher educational institution.The formation of a higher education institution’s strategy should take into account the complexity and diversity of these organizations, and dialectical contradiction between such basic directions of higher educational institution activity as educational process and scientific activity, being reflected in use of all variety of approaches to the formation of a strategy.
