Function and Importance of Service Industry in the Process of Evaluation of the Social Level of Living

The author considers the methodical problems concerning the social standards of living. Special attention is given to the effects of the service industry activity on the index of development of human potential. Nonmonetaized indication – precisely, share of people employed in this particular industry – is offered as an indication for calculation of the results of the service industry activity.

Foreign Economic Potential of Agrofood Complex of Russia

In the article foreign economic relations of agrarian and industrial complex of Russia and the factors of the world market influencing food sphere are considered. The condition of agrofood export of Russia in which structure the basic place is on grain crops is analyzed. The export potential as one of basic elements of resource potential of a grain husbandry is in detail studied. Measures on increase of competitiveness of grain branch with the purpose of maintenance of food safety are offered.

Internal and External Drivers of Public-Private Partnership in Russia

The article discusses factors that drive development of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Russia. These factors have been categorized in two groups: internal and external. The author draws a conclusion that a more balanced approach to PPP benefits and potential drawbacks should be employed as partnership innovation is in no way guaranteed, and a PPP project may become more costly compared to traditional service delivery by government.
